Steve is a founding partner of the firm. He received his B.S. in Political Science in 1983 from the University of Miami and SUNY Brockport. Steve earned his law degree from Georgia State University in 1989.


Steve was admitted to the Bar in 1989. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Georgia. Steve is also a long term affiliate of the Georgia Association of Business Brokers. 


With over 30 years of consistent practice experience, Steve confidently handles matters in the areas of business law, business sales and acquisitions, business/contract disputes, construction disputes and alternate dispute resolutions.


Steve has lectured about business transactions before Georgia Agent/Broker Groups including lecturing before business brokers for State credit.


Steve is an experienced Mediator and Neutral  since 2009 and the owner of Northside ADR (


Steve is the founder, and for many years, host of a weekly Nar Anon family-peer support group serving those who deal with the addiction issues of loved ones and is  also the co-founder and host of the Annual Deane W. Evans Memorial Golf Tournament, raising money to award merit based college scholarships to deserving high school students and doing other charitable work in memory of Deane Evans. 

Steve and his wife Alison are 32 plus year residents of Cherokee County and presently live in Holly Springs.  They are the very proud parents of two adult sons, Alex and Aaron.  They are active in many charitable endeavors and are longtime supporters and promoters of the Cherokee County Secret Santa Program, Atlanta Harm Reduction, The Futon County Canine Cellmates Program, Caring Hands Community (Kingston, NY), The Zaban Couples Shelter, Georgia Overdose Prevention, Friends of the Forlorn and other worthy causes.  




Benjamin C. Stidham is a founding partner licensed to practice in the states of Georgia and Florida. Ben received his B.A. in economics from the University of South Carolina, his Juris Doctorate from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida. 


During law school, Ben served as an intern to Neil W. Putnam, Esq. where he received hands on experience working with clients who had been injured due to the negligence of others. After law school, Ben took a position with the Atlanta Law Group where he worked his way up from an Associate to a Partner. While at the Atlanta Law Group, Mr. Stidham worked with and advised small business owners in connection with corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, commercial contracts and similar matters. 


In 2020, Ben made the decision to start The Stidham Law Firm, LLC. Ben saw an opportunity where he could put the experiences he took from Mr. Putnam and the Atlanta Law Group together to help more people and small businesses. Ben is extremely detail oriented and responsive to his client’s individual needs. Ben appreciates the opportunity to be of service to his clients to help them navigate the intricacies of their cases and formulate efficient and customized solutions for their situations. 


In his free time, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife Megan, playing golf and watching the University of South Carolina Gamecocks. Mr. Stidham lives in Woodstock with Megan and their two (2) dogs Wrigley and Bella.



Elizabeth is an Associate of the firm. She received her B.S. in Environmental Studies and Public Policy from Berry College in 2020 and her law degree from Georgia State University’s College of Law in 2023. 


During law school, Elizabeth interned with many different organizations, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She also spent time volunteering with different organizations such as Legal Aid, Paws Between Homes, the Student Health Law Society, and the Student Environmental Law Society.


Elizabeth has experience in real estate transactions, environmental law, land use law, business law, and business sales and acquisitions. 


Elizabeth currently lives in East Cobb with her boyfriend and her dog Luna. She enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, cooking, exercising, and spoiling her dog. 



Grant Schrantz is an associate of the firm. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English: Professional Writing from Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Florida, in December of 2015.

After graduating from Saint Leo, Grant worked on the support side of the legal industry from 2016 to 2020. In 2020, Grant moved to Georgia to attend law school. Grant graduated with his Juris Doctor degree from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in May of 2023.  

While in law school, Grant served as a Student Bar Association Representative, Peer Mentor, the Student Bar Association Treasurer, and the first Executive Director of the Peer Mentoring Program in the law school’s history.  

Grant also serves as a Public Affairs Officer in the Army National Guard. In his free time, Grant likes to run marathons, hike, lift weights, read, and create and edit videos.



Missy has been with the firm for 5 years. She grew up in Roswell, GA and graduated from Roswell Highschool. After graduating she worked for a law firm in Canton until she had kids, and she became a stay-at-home mom. She entered back into law when the kids got older. She enjoys spending time with her kids, boyfriend, family and friends. When she's not working, she likes to dance, kayak, hike and watch movies.
